Leslie L. Dan, Chairman and founder of the Novopharm group of companies, has devoted his business career to pharmaceutical manufacturing and research in Canada. Anna Dan was born in Moscow and emigrated to Canada in 1980, where she has become a high couture fashion retailer. Together they support a wide range of health-oriented programs.

JAMES D. & MARGARET E. FLECK
Dr. James and Margaret Fleck are avid arts supporters. Jim Fleck is the President of the Art Gallery of Ontario Foundation and Chair of the Minister’s Advisory Council for Arts and Culture (Ontario). Margaret Fleck has had an equally distinctive life in the arts, as a choreographer and dancer, and currently as an avid supporter of the National Ballet School.

JOSEPH LEBOVIC
Joseph Lebovic is a notable philanthropist and board member of several charitable and cultural foundations. In 2005, Mr. Lebovic was awarded the Spirit of Jerusalem Medallion from the State of Israel Bonds. He has also been awarded the Canada Medal for the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada by the Governor General of Canada.

The W. Garfield Weston Foundation is a Canadian charitable foundation committed to making grants in Canada for the benefit of Canadians. MORDEN YOLLES
Morden Yolles is one of the most distinguished designers in Canada and has been highly influential in the development of modern Canadian architecture. In 2003, Morden became a Member of the Order of Canada. He is the President of the Leon and Dora Yolles Charitable Foundation.

GERALD SHEFF & SHANITHA KACHAN
Ms. Kachan has served as a former director of the Ontario Science Centre, a Cabinet member for Interval House, and a Board member of the UJA Women’s Auxiliary. Gerald Sheff is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc. He is a trustee of the Art Gallery of Ontario Foundation, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Scotiabank Giller Prize.

HOWARD SOKOLOWSKI & LINDA FRUM
Howard Sokolowski is co-founder and chief executive officer of Tribute Communities, one of the largest homebuilders in Canada. He is currently a member of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and is co-owner of the Toronto Argonauts. Linda Frum Sokolowski is a columnist for the National Post. As Chair of the United Jewish Appeal’s Women’s Campaign 2006, she raised a record $8 million for the organization.
